Princess Eugenie recently shared some adorable photos of her youngest son, Ernest, to celebrate his first birthday.
The Princess, 34, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, welcomed their second son on May 30th, 2023. To mark his special day, Eugenie posted a sweet slideshow of Ernest on Instagram.

In her heartfelt caption, she wrote, “One year of you my dear Ernest. Happy birthday!! We all love you so much, especially your enormous smile you give the world.. but you always save an extra special one for Mumma. Xxx.”
Eugenie, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, expressed her love and joy for her son.
The first photo showed Ernest sitting on the grass wearing a blue sports top, which seemed to be a Chelsea football shirt with “Ernie” and the number 9 on the back.
Another picture captured a tender moment between Ernest and his older brother, August, who is 3, as August kissed him on the cheek.
Fans quickly filled the comment section with birthday wishes and compliments. One fan exclaimed, “Happy Birthday! Can’t believe it’s been a whole year!” Another added, “What a charming baby. (August too, of course.) Happy Birthday Ernie!” A third fan commented, “How precious! Happy birthday Ernest. Such a special day for such a special little boy.” Another follower wrote, “We love you Ernie so so so much.”
Princess Eugenie is quite active on social media compared to other royals but usually tries to keep her sons out of the public eye.
She and Jack announced Ernest’s birth in June 2023, five days after he was born.
In her announcement, Eugenie shared, “Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs.” She included a picture of newborn Ernest wearing a knitted blue hat.
Eugenie explained that Ernest was named after “his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George, and my Grandpa Ronald.”
Ernest’s arrival was just weeks after King Charles’ Coronation on May 6, which Princess Eugenie attended while heavily pregnant.
Even though Ernest is 13th in line to the throne, right after his brother August, neither of the boys have been given royal titles.
