The past two weeks have been some of the busiest for Charlene of Monaco. This week, she attended the opening of the new mother and baby unit at the Princess Grace Hospital Center, alongside Prince Albert.
This space was designed with a very specific philosophy in mind: to allow parents to stay with their babies 24 hours a day throughout their hospital stay, in rooms designed to resemble a family environment as closely as possible. It’s a beautiful project, and Charlene arrived looking the part.

What dress did Charlène of Monaco choose for her visit to the hospital?
For the occasion, she chose a new floral midi dress from Erdem, featuring a blue Dutch floral print, long sleeves, a fitted waist, and a flared skirt. The design has that romantic touch that Erdem does so well—not overdone, but full of character.

Her accessories were beautifully coordinated. She carried a Dior Lady D-Joy mini bag in ice-blue lambskin, featuring the Maison’s signature Cannage stitching, held in her hand. On her feet, she wore cloud-gray Gianvito Rossi slingback pumps with a sharply pointed toe and buckled back straps.
A neutral color palette that worked perfectly for the occasion.
