Visby awoke to a solemn atmosphere and a floral touch. Crown Princess Victoria arrived at St. Mary’s Cathedral, in the heart of Gotland, to celebrate its 800th anniversary, and she did so wearing one of her favorite designers: Camilla Thulin.
The dress, with a floral print that seemed to dialogue with the Gothic stained glass windows, had just the right drape to move naturally between the central aisle and the official greetings.
This is not the first time Victoria has chosen Thulin, but here there was an extra detail: she combined the look with accessories that are almost a language of their own.
Ebba Brahe’s blue moon earrings added a cool, elegant sparkle, while the Luc of Sweden necklace added a personal touch, more akin to an amulet than a showpiece.
In her hand, she carried Bottega Veneta’s unmistakable “Intrecciato Knot” clutch in light blue silk, which played off the dress’s color palette.
On her feet, she wore camel suede pumps, understated but strategic so as not to compete with the print.
