On a fresh spring morning, April 8, 2025, the Duchess of Edinburgh stepped out in Windsor Great Park to visit the Yellow Labrador Club, a role she holds close to her heart as its proud patron.
The event, held at The York Club, brought together dog lovers, breeders, and trainers dedicated to the yellow Labrador Retriever—an iconic breed the organization has promoted since 1924.
Warm and approachable as ever, the Duchess spent time with members of the club and their well-trained dogs, observing a training session and learning more about the club’s commitment to responsible breeding and development of the breed.
While the focus of the day was undoubtedly the dogs, the Duchess’s outfit didn’t go unnoticed.
Duchess of Edinburgh’s casual style
Sophie from Edinburgh, chose to wear timeless garments, perfect for a casual environment.
She wore a single-breasted wool-blend blazer by Eleventy, a structured yet relaxed jacket ideal for the outdoor setting.
Underneath, she layered a striped, ruched-sleeve cashmere jumper by Frame, bringing a subtle touch of texture and pattern to the look.
A pair of crisp white jeans kept the ensemble fresh and seasonally appropriate, while her Gianvito Rossi Foster boots brought functionality for a day in the field.
For accessories, the Duchess opted for delicate golden details. She wore Poetica small hoop earrings by Giulia Barela, known for their sculptural elegance, and paired them with her Missoma Axiom chain bracelet, a favorite piece she’s been seen wearing on several occasions.
