Christmas has brought one of the most awaited moments for fans of royalty: the Christmas pose of the Dutch royal family.
On this occasion, King William and Queen Maxima, accompanied by their daughters Amalia, Alexia and Ariane, starred in an endearing photo shoot in the gardens of the Begijnhof Palace in Amsterdam.
This family portrait, which has become a tradition, did not miss the friendly presence of their dog, Mambo.
Dutch Royal Family’s Winter Style
The Christmas vacations brought the family together for this photo shoot, where the five of them posed in relaxed and stylish winter outfits.
Maxima: recycled elegance
Queen Máxima opted for a monochromatic white outfit, which stood out for its simplicity and sophistication. She recycled several garments from her closet, including a minimalist coat from Natan, one of her favorites.
This design, with a round neck, long sleeves, belt and midi cut, was complemented with a cream knit sweater and wide-legged pants, also by Natan.
As a special accessory, the queen added a gold-finished pearl and diamond brooch, a piece steeped in history that she debuted in 2004.
Amalia: a youthful and modern touch
For her part, Princess Amalia opted for a comfortable and youthful style. She wore a chocolate brown knit sweater, jeans and a light beige coat from Massimo Dutti, a garment that belongs to her mother’s closet and that she had already worn on other occasions.
This design, with a relaxed silhouette and XL length, completed her winter look along with booties and accessories such as gold earrings and a burgundy bag.
Alexia and Ariane: fashion on trend
Alexia and Ariane, the other two daughters of the King and Queen, were not left behind in style. They both wore slouchy boots, a design that has become a must-have of the season.
These high boots, with a characteristic wrinkled effect, appeared in different shades: off-white for Ariane and chocolate brown for Alexia.
As for their coats, each one brought her personal touch. Ariane chose an azalea-colored model, with puffed sleeves and a belt, while Alexia wore a straight-cut black design, combined with a plaid print midi skirt that peeked out from underneath.
