Queen Letizia made a reappearance at the UNICEF Spain 2025 awards, her presence making it clear that style is also a language.
As the organization’s Honorary President, she was responsible for presenting the awards to projects dedicated to children. However, as is often the case, her appearance ended up drawing a significant amount of attention.
After several days of wearing white, a color that has recently become her go-to, the queen broke the streak with a coral ensemble that felt fresh and bright.
A color that, rather than autumnal, evoked the recently departed summer, contrasting with the wave of dark garments that now dominate the shop windows. It seemed like a risky choice to me, but it was very much in line with her style of setting her own pace.
The centerpiece was a leather pencil skirt by Hugo Boss, which she debuted in 2023. A high-waisted design with visible seams and a strategic opening, proving why the classic cut remains timeless.
Letizia paired it with the same coral satin blouse she wore on her debut: gathered sleeves, flowing fabric, and a shine that further accentuates her skin tone. She knows exactly when to bring back garments that already have a story and give them a new spotlight.
The most interesting part is that she chose to forgo the bag and simplify the accessories, completing the look with nude slingbacks with low heels. A subtle gesture that reinforced the feeling of comfort and confidence.
I would say it was a look that was true to her own style.
