During her official visit to Malta, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, has once again demonstrated her impeccable style with three different looks, all with a common denominator: floral prints.
The occasion marks a significant moment, as it is the first official trip of the British royal family to Malta since 2018, on the occasion of the celebration of the country’s independence anniversary.
Malta also holds sentimental value for the royal family, as it was home to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip before she assumed the throne.
Duchess of Edinburgh’s Style in Malta
Shirt dress by Gabriella Hearst: The Duchess’ first appearance was for an official reception at the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta, where she wore a plant-print shirt dress by Gabriella Hearst, with a figure-skimming belt and elegant lantern sleeves.
She paired the look with Jimmy Choo heels, highlighting her preference for the brand.
Dress by Erdem: Later, at a reception at the British High Commissioner’s residence, Sophie opted for an Erdem dress with a floral print on a black background, in keeping with the evening atmosphere.
She paired the outfit with a pair of Jimmy Choo’s that perfectly completed the ensemble.
White blouse and floral print skirt: This October 8, during a boat trip in Valletta, Sophie chose an Erdem skirt with floral print in orange tones, which she combined with a white blouse and esparto wedges.
The bag, with a strap decorated with metallic appliqués and stones, gave an interesting and modern touch to her outfit.
