Infanta Sofia has a solo agenda on Friday. The youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Spain returned from Lisbon to attend her second official engagement without her parents or sister. She visited the ONCE Foundation’s Guide Dog Breeding and Training Center in Boadilla del Monte.
For over 35 years, this facility has been breeding and training dogs for people with visual impairments, offering specialized equipment, a veterinary hospital, and even a residence for those learning to navigate with their future companion.

Princess Leonor’s younger sister learned all this while accompanied by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid, and she certainly chose the right moment for a look that hit the mark.
Because here comes the good part. The youngest wore a Zara blazer in gray herringbone wool, which is currently on sale, having dropped from $50 to $20.

It’s a blazer with a lapel collar, subtle shoulder pads, a single front button, and flap pockets. Underneath, a black knit sweater with a round neck. Formal, yes, but without losing that youthful vibe that suits her so well.
The key to the look was the jeans. Straight cut, frayed hem, and a relaxed vibe that perfectly complements the blazer.

It’s that delicate balance between needing to look good at a formal event and feeling like a 19-year-old shouldn’t be wearing a full suit. Functional for touring facilities, elegant for official photos.
The Center employs over 50 professionals, ranging from mobility instructors to veterinarians specializing in genetic selection. A serious project that Sofia experienced firsthand. Meanwhile, we’re figuring out how to handle an official commitment without compromising our own style.
