The British royal family has officially ignited the Christmas spirit, and the Princess of Wales was, as usual, in charge of kicking off the festivities with her traditional carol concert at Westminster Abbey.
This event, conceived and organized by Kate Middleton, brings together members of the royals and special guests in an atmosphere full of music, solidarity and elegance.
This year, however, it has an even deeper meaning for the princess, who has faced significant health challenges.
Kate Middleton’s style at the carol service
Kate, true to her impeccable style, dazzled in a festive look that evoked the classic colors of Christmas. Her choice was a midi-length Christmas red coat designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, one of her favorite fashion houses.
The design, which combined sophistication and originality, featured a black velvet bow at the collar, cuff details and a double row of buttons in the same color.
Underneath the coat, one detail caught everyone’s attention: a tartan skirt by Emilia Wickstead, which Kate had worn for the first time in 2018 and which perfectly matched the festive spirit of the occasion.
To complete her outfit, she chose high heeled boots in black, adding a modern touch to her classic silhouette.

Kate Middleton made her debut as host of her first carol service, ‘Together At Christmas’, in 2021.
For the occasion, the Princess of Wales shined thanks to a long red coat with a big bow at the neck by designer Catherine Walker.
The princess paired the dress with red Gianvito Rossi heels and a Miu Miu clutch.

For her second Christmas concert, Kate opted for a burgundy look that consisted of a long coat that she wore as a dress. It was a garment cinched at the waist, V-neckline and shoulder pads designed by Eponine London.
She combined her Christmas outfit with Gianvito Rossi shoes in the same tone, a clutch bag by Aspinal London and matching suede gloves.
