Always impeccable and elegant, Princess Kate Middleton once again dazzled with her trademark good taste at her recent public appearance in Southport.
For the occasion, Kate opted to repeat a look she had already worn in 2018: a shirt dress by Whistles, in burgundy and with small white polka dots.
Princess Kate’s style at her first public duty in Southport
This design, with buttons in the central part and a fabric belt, stands out for its straight and stylized silhouette, which highlights the figure of the princess.
To complement her dress, Kate chose an Alexander McQueen crossover coat, made of wool and with pointed lapel details.
This coat, which is already part of her signature sophisticated style, was paired with elegant brown suede heels from Emmy London and a matching handbag from the same house.
However, one detail drew special attention: the princess was not wearing her iconic engagement ring.
This ring, which belonged to Princess Diana, has been a constant symbol on Kate’s hand since her engagement to Prince William in 2010.
Instead, the princess opted for a new ring that combines diamonds and small sapphires, which has generated speculation among fans of the royal family.
This is not the first time Kate has stopped wearing her famous sapphire ring. Several times the princess has been spotted without this jewel, preferring to wear a more discreet set of rings, including a diamond bandeau ring she received after the birth of her first child, Prince George, in 2013.
Although the exact reason for the absence of the sapphire ring remains a mystery, it is clear that Kate has decided to go for a more sober and minimalist look in her recent appearances, always maintaining her signature elegance.
