Kate Middleton returned to Wales for the first time since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March last year.
On this occasion, she visited the Tŷ Hafan children’s hospice, located near Cardiff, an institution that has been providing support to children with limiting illnesses and their families since 1999.
Kate Middleton wears a Zara dress
For this significant visit, Kate opted for an elegant and accessible look.
The Princess of Wales wore a black and white Zara dress with a classic houndstooth print, a garment she had already worn in previous public engagements.
Her first appearance with this piece was in 2020, during an event in Bradford. She then reused it in 2021 for a visit to University College London (UCL) and again in 2023, when she paid tribute at the Aberfan Memorial Garden.
To complement her outfit, the Princess of Wales wore a matching coat and sophisticated gold “Alia” hoop earrings from Spells of Love.
As for footwear, she opted for classic black stilettos from Russell & Bromley.
In total, the ensemble totaled around just over $500.
Kate’s visit to Tŷ Hafan comes just two weeks after she shared the encouraging news that she is “in remission” following her cancer treatment.
It is also her first solo engagement in over a year, following her recent appearance at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
