Although they had already fulfilled their most institutional engagement in Marivent, the King and Queen and their daughters treated us to one last appearance on Tuesday—very unexpected and quite revealing—before ending their summer in Mallorca.
The reason? A private visit, albeit one that was thoroughly photographed, to the Paysage Miró exhibition at the Llotja in Palma. And as is often the case in these situations, the excuse was art, but fashion also played its part.
Queen Letizia’s style
Letizia, who had dazzled in Ibiza white the day before, changed her look completely and opted for a pink dress by Hugo Boss.
It was a sweetheart neckline, bustier-style dress that she paired with flat espadrilles, which added a functional touch without compromising on style.
There was also a nod to local fashion: a bag from Feel Mallorca and earrings with golden suns from an island brand. Nothing is accidental, and Letizia knows it.
The King and Queen’s daughters also shone, each in their own way.
Leonor and Sofia’s summer style in Mallorca
Leonor opted for a simple but effective Easy Wear dress with a tropical print in green. The square neckline and pleats on the chest gave it structure, and as usual, she let the naturalness of her presence carry the look.
Infanta Sofia, for her part, was the most boho of the trio: she chose a flowing dress by Babbaki, with a V-neckline, open back, and a discreet gold thread between shades of green and lilac. Very much in her style, more relaxed and youthful.
