Meghan Markle made a stunning and heartfelt appearance at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Gala on October 5, 2024.

Known for her elegance and commitment to causes close to her heart, the Duchess of Sussex arrived in a striking red gown by Carolina Herrera—a choice that not only turned heads but also highlighted her dedication to sustainability.

The 43-year-old royal was a vision of confidence as she stepped onto the red carpet, wearing the same gorgeous dress she had donned back in 2021 at New York’s Salute to Freedom gala.

This elegant gown, known for its plunging neckline and bold front slit, was paired with red strappy heels, completing a look that was both glamorous and eco-friendly.

Notably, Meghan’s 2024 ensemble left out the dramatic train she had previously worn with the dress, giving the outfit a more streamlined and modern touch this time around.

Her choice to recycle such a memorable gown speaks to Meghan’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable fashion, reminding everyone that style and environmental consciousness can go hand in hand.

Meghan completed her look with Aquazzura sandals, her Cartier bracelet and her hair down naturally.

At the gala, which was held to honor CHLA’s patients and hardworking pediatric staff, Meghan took time to connect with attendees, including families of patients and nurses, showing genuine warmth and kindness.

Meghan spoke about the incredible impact the hospital has on families, particularly those who may not be able to afford top-level care.

“The staff is incredible, and the amount of work they do for families that really could not afford this level of care is something that I think should never be overlooked,” Meghan remarked, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to be there and offer her support.
