I’m telling you, Queen Mathilde has shone once again, this time in Vienna, and she did so with the understated and elegant style that defines her.
The Belgian sovereign traveled to the Austrian capital to fulfill a cultural and diplomatic agenda, which included the inauguration of an exhibition dedicated to the Baroque painter Michaelina Wautier and a visit to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
As always, she skillfully balanced her institutional role with a meticulously crafted look.
For this occasion, she chose a pastel yellow ensemble by Natan Couture, featuring a midi skirt and a sleeveless blouse with clean lines. The fresh color and structured silhouette perfectly matched her personal style.
The most striking nod came from the matching headband, designed by Fabienne Delvigne, which added an almost regal touch to her presence in Vienna.
The accessories were discreet yet intentional. Mathilde carried an Emmanuelle bag by Voort Studio in oyster color and wore Carolina Herrera earrings that added a subtle touch of shine.
On her feet, nude suede pumps by Natan, very much in line with what we usually see in her choices: comfortable, elegant, and flattering to the figure.
The final detail was her inseparable Rolex Datejust in steel and gold with a diamond dial, a watch that seamlessly blends timeless elegance with sophistication.
I liked it; Mathilde achieved a look that was equally diplomatic and feminine.
