September is a key month for the Dutch royal family, and Princess Amalia has once again shown that she is ready to play a leading role.
A few days ago, during Prinsjesdag or Prince’s Day, the young heiress stole the spotlight by opting for an elegant emerald green dress by Safiyaa, one of her favorite brands.
However, just one day later, she shone again in a completely different style, this time inspired by old Hollywood.

The Dutch princess, attended an official dinner at the Noordeinde Palace, an event in honor of the Council of State, an institution she has been part of since she turned 18.
Amalia dazzled in a dark blue dress, made of satin crepe, which featured a square neckline and puffed sleeves, designed by Alex Perry Rowan, a renowned Australian designer who has worked with many American celebrities.
This dress not only enhanced her figure, but the accompanying long train added a touch of elegance, covering her feet as she arrived at the palace.
Interestingly, the shoes she wore belonged to her mother, Queen Maxima. The heels, in a navy blue shade by Gienvito Rossi, have been seen on multiple occasions at official events.
To complement her outfit, Amalia chose historical jewelry. She opted for the iconic lattice necklace, also known as the “honeycomb necklace,” a piece commissioned in 1901 by Queen Emma for her daughter Wilhelmina’s wedding.
It’s not the first time Amalia has worn this family treasure, having previously worn it to the birthday party of Denmark’s Prince Christian, where she was joined by other European royal heirs.
Beyond her impeccable style, Amalia is taking on more and more responsibilities as a future head of state. Her participation in the Council of State is significant, as, unlike her mother, Maxima, she has voting power in decisions.
At the same time, Amalia is preparing herself academically with a degree in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics, seeking to gain the necessary knowledge to play her role in the Dutch monarchy.
