Princess Amalia in ball gown
Princess Amalia, heiress to the Dutch throne, was undoubtedly the star of the evening. With a confidence that reflects her growing role in royalty, she wore a spectacular ball gown designed by Tadashi Shoji.
This creation, made in jeweled net fabric, features a mermaid cut base and a fitted bodice with a braided effect that highlights her figure.
The most striking detail was a back layer that added movement.
To complement her outfit, the princess chose a tiara steeped in history. This accessory, which her mother, Maxima, wore at her wedding to King William Alexander, originally belonged to Queen Sophia, William III’s first wife.
In its current design, the original daisies were replaced by diamond stars, a change that makes it even more unique.

For her part, Queen Maxima opted for the elegance of a dress that she had already worn on other occasions, designed by her faithful collaborator Jan Taminiau.
The design, in shades of red and black, features zigzag stripes that create a striking visual effect and fit perfectly with her energetic personality.
To accompany this ensemble, Maxima did not skimp on jewelry. She wore her iconic ruby tiara, one of the most prominent pieces in her collection.
This accessory was complemented with earrings and a choker necklace with three strands of chatons, also adorned with rubies, which added a touch of cohesion and sophistication.
