Princess Amalia dazzled at the gala dinner hosted by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima in honor of the Sultan of Oman during his State visit to the Netherlands.
The event, held at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam, marked a special moment for the heir to the throne, who reappeared in the public eye following her visit to Madrid, where she inaugurated a tulip garden she personally donated.
Princess Amalia’s Style at the Sultan of Oman’s State Dinner
For the occasion, Amalia opted for a sophisticated lavender gown by British designer Safiyaa, custom-made with a distinctive design: a fitted cape, open back, and covered buttons.
Beyond the dress, the real highlight was the jewelry: for the first time, Amalia wore the historic Mellerio tiara, a piece featuring 385 diamonds and rubies commissioned by King William III for Queen Emma, which had previously only been worn by her mother, Queen Maxima.
The tiara was not alone. Amalia completed her look with a matching bracelet, earrings, and ring—the same set Maxima wore during a gala in Athens in 2022.
With this ensemble, the princess reaffirmed her presence in the royal agenda, just ahead of the family’s upcoming commitments, the King’s Games, which this year will be held early in Doetinchem and will once again bring together the King, Queen, and their three daughters.
