Anticipating the celebrations of Monaco’s National Day in 2024, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene showed their dedication to community service by participating in the annual gift distribution organized by the Monaco Red Cross.
This generous act specifically benefits retirees who receive support from the organization’s social services. The distribution took place shortly before November 19, a significant date as it marks both National Day—also known as the Sovereign Prince’s Day—and the anniversary of Prince Albert II’s ascension to the throne.
The National Day festivities in Monaco usually begin on the night of November 18 with a dazzling fireworks display over the port, captivating residents and visitors alike.
The following day, the celebrations continue with a solemn mass at St. Nicholas Cathedral, offering a moment of reflection and unity for the Principality.
