Charlene of Monaco kicked off the 25th edition of the charity race Without Finish Line, a solidarity event that brings together people of all ages with a clear objective: to raise funds for sick and vulnerable children.
The event, which takes place from November 16 to 24 at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille, invites participants to walk or run at the pace of their choice, donating one euro for each kilometer run.
The princess, known for her commitment to sport and social causes, arrived at the event wearing an ideal outfit for the occasion.
Princess Charlene’s Sporty Style
Charlene opted for a red windbreaker jacket with the emblem of her foundation, which she combined with a basic white T-shirt, black cargo pants from Louis Vuitton and ASICS sneakers.
To complete her look, she opted for discreet makeup and a natural hairstyle.
A life marked by sport and challenges
Sport has been a constant in Charlene’s life, long before she took on her royal duties. As a professional swimmer, she represented South Africa in international competitions and reaped numerous achievements.
However, a shoulder injury cut short her career in 2007, preventing her from competing at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This change marked a turning point in his life, but it did not diminish his passion for physical activity, which remains a mainstay in his life.
In a recent interview with French magazine Gala, Charlene spoke about how she has had to adapt her sports routine due to the health challenges she has faced in recent years.
“I walk, I cycle, I swim too, but not as much as before,” she confessed, adding that she now prefers to focus on moderation. At almost 47 years old, the princess explained that, although her mind and heart still seek challenges, her body no longer has the same stamina.
