The royals have started to make their first appearances of the year, and on Thursday evening, it was the turn of Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene.
The couple attended one of the most anticipated events: the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the inauguration of the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
This iconic conference center, located in the picturesque Larvotto district, was the stage where Albert and Charlene shone with their presence.
Princess Charlene in a velvet blazer
Charlene, who looked more radiant than ever, chose for this occasion a very sophisticated style, with a masculine touch that highlighted her elegance.
The Princess opted for a burgundy velvet blazer, which was characterized by its discreet pattern and a very stylized design.
The tuxedo-style collar in black and the double-breasted waistband gave it a very chic feel, while the invisible pockets added a touch of subtlety to the ensemble.
To complete her look, Charlene chose black skinny pants, also in velvet, which accentuated her figure in an elegant way.
As for the shoes, the Princess opted for a pair of black satin Christian Dior pumps, with a very distinctive design.
These shoes, which leave the instep uncovered, feature an ankle strap with a buckle, creating an interesting visual effect.
As usual on special occasions, Charlene complemented her outfit with some jewelry.
Although she is not as fond of big jewelry as some other royals, the Princess has a select collection of valuable pieces.
On this occasion, she chose emerald-cut diamond earrings, which added a touch of sparkle without overshadowing the outfit.
