Christmas has arrived in Monaco with its princely family, who kicked off the festivities with the traditional lighting of lights.
This Saturday, November 30, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, along with their children, Jacques and Gabriella, became the protagonists of a magical night that illuminated the Principality.
The event began at the emblematic Place du Palais, where, surrounded by family members such as Camille Gottlieb and Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy, little Jacques and Gabriella pressed the golden button that activated the lights.
The square and the Palazzo Principesco were filled with a special glow that officially marked the beginning of the Christmas season.
After this moment, the family moved to Casino Square, one of the most iconic places in Monaco. There, the twins once again turned on the lights, this time accompanied by prominent figures of the Principality, such as the Minister of State, Didier Guillaume.
The luminous projections transformed the facade of the Casino into a visual spectacle, while an imposing 18-meter Christmas tree stood as the center of attention.
Also of note were the huge illuminated snow globes, which contained little stories inside and offered a unique detail for passers-by.
Princess Charlene’s Winter Outfit
Princess Charlene, always elegant, stood out in winter attire that reflected her signature style: sophisticated and modern.
Charlene of Monaco wore a long coat with irregular stripes in shades of gray and white, combined with a black perforated vest with a V-neckline over a turtleneck sweater.
She completed the outfit with black leather high boots, a natural makeup that highlighted her pink lips and an updo that highlighted her earrings with discreet stones.
With this kick-off, Monaco is immersed in a Christmas atmosphere full of activities and decorations that promise to delight residents and visitors alike.
