Princess Kate visited Castle Hill Nursery School in New Addington, Croydon, on Thursday, February 12th. She served as the Royal Patron of Place2Be, a leading UK charity that works directly with schools to improve mental health in children and young people.
The visit was to commemorate Child Mental Health Week 2026. She met with children, parents, teachers, and professionals from Place2Be. There, she saw firsthand how trusting relationships, creativity, and play help young children express themselves and build confidence.

For this event, she chose a classic and simple look. She once again opted for brown, one of her favorite shades for the fall-winter season, with a touch of color.
The princess wore the ‘The Founder’ blazer from the Viennese brand Petar Petrov. It’s made of wool and features a slightly oversized silhouette, classic notched lapels, a single-breasted design, flap pockets, and structured shoulders.

She paired it with Boden’s ‘Sienna’ shirt in a contrasting color. It is made of cotton, with a straight but not fitted cut, a curved hem at the back, a classic collar, and wide cuffs.
She paired it with brown trousers in a darker shade than the blazer, featuring a straight cut, a mid-rise waist, and an ankle-length hem. She completed the look with a leather belt featuring a gold buckle.

But the finishing touch to the look was the footwear. Although she is occasionally seen wearing flats, she typically wears heels, even with casual outfits. This time, she chose classic loafers, the ‘Nya Penny Loafers’ from Boden, also crafted from brown leather. A comfortable and fashionable choice.

She wore the ‘Kiki Classics’ earrings from the London-based firm Kiki McDonough. Pear-shaped with sky-blue topazes (approximately 5.20 carats) set in 18-carat yellow gold.
Around her neck, she wore the ‘Bali’ model by Auree, a 9-carat yellow gold necklace featuring a central garnet stone. Everything was kept fairly contained so the focus remained where it should: on the mental health of the children.
