Princess Leonor has had a busy few days in Oviedo, where her presence has been received with great affection and respect.
Since her arrival in Asturias, Leonor has headed important official acts, standing out not only for her role as heiress, but also for her elegant style and adapted to every occasion.
On Thursday, Leonor was distinguished as Honorary Mayor of the city, a recognition that her father, King Felipe VI, had already received in 1988, reflecting a family tradition that seems to follow in her footsteps.
For the appointment ceremony, Leonor wore a sky blue suit by Pedro del Hierro, a design that reaffirms her penchant for classic tailoring in moments of great institutional importance.
The choice of color and the cut of the suit refer to her recent appearance at the swearing in of the Constitution, where she wore a white tailoring ensemble that had been made by the same firm in charge of her father’s wardrobe.
Later, the Princess was seen again in Oviedo, this time with a more relaxed and youthful look. She opted for a printed flowing skirt by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, combined with a black top and elegant slingback shoes by Carolina Herrera, complemented by discreet diamond earrings.
This change of attire demonstrated her ability to adapt to the formality and freshness that each event deserves.
Princess Leonor in Tweed dress by Maje
This October 25, on a rainy day in Asturias, Leonor attended the traditional audiences at the Reconquista Hotel, where the royal family received the recipients of the End of Degree Awards 2023 of the University of Oviedo, the Medals of Asturias 2024, and other outstanding awards in the region.
The Princess opted for a black and white tweed dress by the French firm Maje, with piping and details that brought a sophisticated and formal touch to the event.
The design, fitted above the knee, featured a V-neckline, gold buttons on the shoulders and a slight placket fall on the skirt, keeping in a classic line that at the same time is very modern.
The tweed, one of the main fabrics of the season, has been a success in the wardrobe of Leonor, who also wore tights and low-heeled stilettos, ensuring a sober elegance.
This outfit reflects the taste shared with her mother, Queen Letizia, who is also loyal to the Maje brand and has worn its garments in several significant events.
