In an elegant evening at the Royal Palace in Oslo, Princess Mette-Marit of Norway shined at the gala dinner in honor of the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, and his wife, Suzanne Innes-Stubb.
For this occasion, the princess opted for a Valentino Haute Couture dress, a piece that has been in her closet since 2012.

Specifically, it was the white chiffon dress with a delicate green floral print, which features puffed sleeves, transparencies and gathered details at the top, adding a romantic and ethereal air to the ensemble.
Mette-Marit complemented her outfit with the iconic daisy tiara, a small but personally meaningful piece of jewelry.
This tiara was a wedding gift from her in-laws, King Harald and Queen Sonia, and was precisely the one the princess chose for her wedding to Prince Haakon in 2001.
Designed in 1910 by Garrard jewelry, the tiara is composed of diamonds in the shape of daisies, which gives it a delicate and feminine air.
On the other hand, Queen Sonja also impressed with her lime green dress, a recurring choice in her wardrobe. As a complement, she wore the majestic emerald tiara, a historical jewel of neoclassical style created in 1804 for Empress Josephine.
This tiara has been passed down through generations, from Brazilian royalty to the Swedish royal family, and is now part of Queen Sonja’s legacy. With its large central emerald and diamonds depicting scrolls and honeysuckles, this piece remains a favorite of the queen consort.
