Crown Princess Rajwa of Jordan continues to blaze her own trail in royal fashion, combining elegance and comfort in her public appearances.
Four months after the birth of her daughter Iman, the princess is resuming her engagements with a marked evolution in her style.
During a recent visit to a speech therapy center for adults and children, Rajwa accompanied Prince Hussein on a date, where her choice of attire stood out.
Princess Rajwa in Max Mara outfit and sneakers
The princess wore a Max Mara ensemble valued at $1,300, consisting of straight-cut fluid pants and a wrap jacket in an elegant dark green shade.
The jacket, decorated with buttons on the cuffs, lapels and a belt that marked her waist, brought a dose of sophistication to the outfit.
However, the detail that attracted the most attention was her choice of footwear: thick-soled sneakers in beige.
With this decision, Rajwa reaffirms her preference for comfort, leaving behind the heels that are usually the hallmark of Jordanian royals, including her mother-in-law, Queen Rania.
For months now, sneakers have become a constant in the princess’s looks. During her pregnancy and the first images after giving birth, Rajwa prioritized flat shoes, such as ballerinas or sneakers.
The only recent exception was during the opening of parliament, where she opted for heels for the formal occasion.
In addition to her functional style, her choice of brands also reflects an influence from Queen Rania, known for her love of brands such as Max Mara. However, Rajwa seems to prefer less exclusive pieces.
Some royal fashion experts suggest that Rajwa’s decision to avoid heels could be motivated by a question of height, as she is about the same height as her husband, Prince Hussein, or even a little taller.
What is clear, however, is that Rajwa is building a unique identity in Jordanian royal fashion.
