On Monday, April 20, the Royal Palace welcomed the new President of Portugal, António José Seguro, and his wife, Margarida Maldonado, on an official visit to Spain.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcomed them with a luncheon in the Comedor de Diario, a more intimate room than the usual Comedor de Gala, a detail that speaks volumes about the close rapport the King and Queen wish to establish with the new Portuguese head of state from the outset.

For the occasion, Letizia debuted a macaron-pink crepe dress featuring a wraparound cowl neck created from the fabric itself, a pencil silhouette, French sleeves, and a midi length. The design strikes a balance between structure and modernity, offering elegance without being overstated, and the pastel pink lent a special glow to her recent tan.

On her feet, she also debuted Carolina Herrera’s Lacito Insignia 20 slingback pumps in pink leather, featuring a double bow on the vamp and a metal pin with the designer’s initials. The heels were a sensible height, as is her custom.

The jewelry was the surprise of the day. From her jewelry box, Letizia brought out a Yanes set that she has owned since her time as Princess of Asturias: earrings and a flower-shaped ring made of mother-of-pearl.

These flawless pieces, dating back two decades, were paired with her usual Coreterno ring and a pink Victoria Insignia Mini bag by Carolina Herrera. The entire look adhered to the same color palette, coordinated with care but without forcing the match.
Her hair, worn naturally loose, completed the look, as has been her signature style in recent years.
