In February, King Felipe and Queen Letizia warmly welcomed the President of Guatemala, César Bernardo Arévalo de León, and the First Lady, Lucrecia Eugenia Peinado Villanueva, during an official lunch held at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
The event was part of the Guatemalan President’s working visit to Spain, at the invitation of King Felipe.
Prior to the lunch, President Arévalo met privately with King Felipe to discuss matters of mutual interest, highlighting the strong ties between Spain and Guatemala.
Following the meeting, the royal couple joined the President and First Lady to greet guests gathered in the grand halls of the palace.
Queen Letizia in a Floral Dress by Carolina Herrera
For the occasion, Queen Letizia dusted off from her closet some of the dresses most praised by fans.
It is the blue dress with floral print in shades of green, blue and purple by Carolina Herrera.
It is a design with French sleeves, round neckline, full skirt and midi length. A piece that premiered in 2019 at the National Gallery in London.
She combined the dress with navy blue leather low heeled heels by Magrit.
As accessories, she wore a pair of TOUS earrings composed of three emeralds joined by a rigid piece. She also wore her emblematic Coreterno ring.
