Queen Letizia surprised again with her style at the audiences prior to the Princess of Asturias Awards, held this Friday, October 25 at the iconic Reconquista Hotel in Oviedo.
Accompanied by King Felipe and her daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, Letizia dazzled in a new dress in a vibrant fuchsia color that stole all eyes.
Queen Letizia in fuchsia tweed dress
The design chosen by Letizia for this formal event was made of tweed, a rustic and thick fabric that, in addition to being on trend, provides elegance and warmth, ideal for the autumn season.
This dress, with a classic cut, has French sleeves and a simple round neckline, but it is in the details where it becomes special.
The piece has delicate fringe trim at the waist and cuffs, giving it a unique touch that sets it apart from previous looks. Although the exact signature of the dress is unknown for now, many have begun to speculate that it could be a creation of the Royal Household’s sewing workshop, known for making exclusive pieces for the Queen.
To complement the outfit, Letizia opted for a pair of nude-toned stilettos by Magrit, shoes with which we have already seen her in other occasions.
This type of footwear not only adds elegance, but, being of a tone close to skin color, creates a visual effect that lengthens the legs, a stylistic trick that Letizia knows well. In addition, she chose a handbag in a similar tone, with a short handle and gold clasp, which brought a sense of perfect harmony to the ensemble.
Another attention-grabbing detail was her choice of earrings: a vintage-style pair in rose gold. These jewels, part of the royal jewelry box, highlighted the sophistication of the outfit without stealing the limelight from the vibrant dress.
