Queen Letizia’s Fuchsia Tweed Dress Does Double Duty

    17 March, 2026

On Tuesday, March 17, King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcomed the Spanish delegation for the Winter Paralympic Games at the Zarzuela Palace.

The meeting was a relaxed one, the kind where the King and Queen have time to congratulate each athlete and ask about their experience. And as is customary for Letizia, who has been championing sport as a social tool for years, she didn’t miss the opportunity to wear an outfit that was fitting for the occasion.

What dress did Queen Letizia wear at the Zarzuela Palace?

She chose a fuchsia-pink tweed dress that she had already worn for the first time on her official trip to China in November 2025 and that she has worn twice more since then, a clear sign that it is one of those pieces that stays in her wardrobe.

The dress features a fitted silhouette with a flared skirt, cap sleeves, a round neckline, and double fringes at the waist and cuffs that add movement without being overdone. It’s the kind of dress that immediately brings to mind the Chanel universe, with its balance between structure and elegance.

How Letizia paired the dress and which accessories completed the look

She wore black kitten heels with a large buckle, a pair that has already become a staple in her wardrobe.

For jewelry, she wore multicolored gemstone earrings from Tous and a ring from Coreterno, an independent Spanish brand that Letizia has worn on several occasions. Nothing out of place; everything was perfectly balanced.

After the audience at the Zarzuela Palace, Queen Letizia and King Felipe traveled to the city of Jaén for an official visit as part of the events commemorating the 1,200th anniversary of Jaén becoming a city.

For this event, which was both institutional and festive in nature, Queen Letizia wore the same fuchsia tweed dress.
