Queen Letizia became the center of attention this Thursday during her attendance to the 35th anniversary of the newspaper El Mundo, an event held at the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace in Madrid.
On this occasion, the Queen not only dazzled with her elegance, but also surprised with a striking new dress that marked a change from the more sober styles she had worn in recent weeks.
Queen Letizia’s Style at El Mundo Anniversary Event
The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, chose a Moises Nieto design for the event. This dress in navy blue tweed with white details features French sleeves, a fitted waist and a midi length that gives it a sophisticated air.
However, the detail that really caught the eye was its asymmetrical neckline, which exposed her left shoulder and collarbone, adding a modern and daring touch.
To complement her outfit, she opted for accessories in black tones. Her comfortable heels, ideal to mitigate the ailments in her feet, and her Mica handbag, both from Magrit.
This bag, which she also owns in nude and navy blue, seems to have become one of the Queen’s favorites.
The jewelry chosen did not go unnoticed either. Letizia wore white gold earrings with diamonds and teardrop-shaped sapphires, pieces that she debuted in 2017 and that have been worn on important occasions, even by Princess Leonor.
This styling choice once again reinforces Letizia’s place as one of the most influential figures in the world of fashion and royalty.
