On February 11, Queen Letizia began her week with a commitment that highlighted the role of women in science.
The appointment was at the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences, where she presented the Royal Academy of Sciences of Spain Foundation Awards to Young Female Scientific Talent, in commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
Queen Letizia’s Chic Winter Look
For the occasion, where the temperature in Madrid was around 9 degrees, the Queen opted for a winter look, but comfortable.
The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia wore a dress from the Swedish firm & Other Stories, characterized by an elegant print in shades of green and blue.
The design stood out for its slightly high neck, long sleeves, a fitted cut in the body and a pleated skirt with an asymmetrical hem that added dynamism to the outfit.
Although it belongs to a past collection, the dress had been waiting for the perfect moment to be worn, proving that style has no expiration date.
Completing her outfit, Letizia chose a pair of taupe suede boots by Magrit. With rounded toe and a comfortable wide heel of less than five centimeters.
As for accessories, the Queen opted for simplicity and understated elegance. She wore drop-shaped earrings from the Spanish firm PDPAOLA, model “Sugar”, made of gold-plated silver and costing less than 100 dollars.
She also wore her iconic Coreterno ring, a detail that has become a personal hallmark in her public appearances.
