Every September, Queen Letizia returns to one of her most usual appointments: the start of the school year. This year, her destination was the Maestra Plácida Herranz school in Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara.
On her arrival, she was met by the school’s management team and the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Pilar Alegría, with whom she shared several moments during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris this summer.
Queen Letizia in a puffed sleeve blouse by Roberto Verino
The Queen, always attentive to detail, chose an outfit that did not go unnoticed.
The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, debuted a striped blouse by Roberto Verino, a garment that has quickly become a bestseller.
The blouse, an elegant design with puffed sleeves, round neck and a delicate jacquard of fine stripes arranged in different directions, is a piece that anyone would like to have in their closet.
This beautiful blouse is available on the designer’s website for about $165 at the current exchange rate.
Completing her ensemble, Letizia opted for simple black pants and Hugo Boss sandals, a model that has become her favorite choice since she left sneakers behind after her foot injury.
These sandals, of minimalist design with straps at the front and ankle bracelet, stand out for their “sensible” heel -wide and low height-, a practical choice that contrasts with the high stilettos she used to wear in other occasions.
The fact that she has them in various colors, such as gold or nude, clearly shows that these sandals are now an essential in her closet.
Beyond her style, Letizia’s visit was marked by her closeness and warmth with the students and teachers of the school.
During the tour of the facilities, the Queen shared smiles and conversations with the little ones, who were delighted to be able to talk to her and tell her their stories.
