As every October 12, the Spanish royal family becomes the center of attention during the celebration of the National Day.
This year, despite the persistent rain in Madrid, Queen Letizia did not go unnoticed, wearing an elegant outfit that mixed style and practicality.
Queen Letizia’s Style on Spain’s National Day
King Felipe and Queen Letizia, accompanied by their daughter, Princess Leonor, arrived at the Paseo de la Castellana to preside over the military parade.
However, the weather did not cooperate, as the rain gave no respite throughout the day.
Umbrella in hand, Queen Letizia chose to protect herself from the bad weather with a voluminous trench coat, which completely covered the red dress she had chosen for the occasion.
Although the trench coat barely allowed the outfit to be seen, the elegant design that Letizia wore could already be sensed.

Once inside the palace and refugees from the bad weather, the red dress that Queen Letizia wore and had to hide under a raincoat due to the heavy rain could be seen in its entirety.
It was a red dress with a high-waist skirt and light, accompanied by a blouse with a bow at the neck, chiffon sleeves and buttons on the cuffs, signed by the now defunct brand Poète.
This piece had already premiered previously in the tenth edition of the Honorary Ambassadors of Marca España.
The touch of sophistication was provided by the accessories. The queen chose ruby earrings by Aldao, which shone to match her dress, as well as a red handbag and comfortable heels, essential to endure the long hours on her feet between the parade and the reception at the Royal Palace.
Letizia, aware of how demanding this day was going to be, relied on Magrit pumps with a heel of just three centimeters, ideal for combining elegance with comfort.
