Queen Letizia has once again surprised with her fashion choice, showing once again her commitment to sustainability.

On Thursday afternoon, she attended the Princess of Asturias Awards concert at the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo, wearing an elegant rented dress from the famous Roland Mouret brand.

At around 7:30 p.m., the royal family made their entrance into the auditorium. Letizia wore a navy blue dress that drew attention for its asymmetrical neckline, accompanied by a delicate gathering on one of the sides and a slit that enhanced her figure in a subtle way.

Although the dress’s original price tag is more than $900, the queen opted to rent it through Lend the Label, a more economical option that allowed her to enjoy a couture piece for only $130 for four days.

This approach is not only pocket-friendly, but also allows more women to enjoy the same design, worn by the Queen of Spain.

This is not the first time Letizia has chosen a rented dress. In July of this year, she also opted for a dress by Australian firm Aje for a meeting with the advisory board of the Princess of Girona Foundation, receiving rave reviews.

Blanca Mayoral, founder of Lend the Label, commented on the Queen’s choice: “That the Queen once again trusts our project and opts once again for renting rather than buying denotes her commitment to sustainability and support for small Spanish companies trying to carve out a niche in the industry.”

To complement her look, Letizia chose elegant gold slingback shoes by Magrit, which feature a low heel, ideal for the queen, who has been dealing with foot problems in recent times.

She also carried a handbag that matched her outfit perfectly. Her earrings, crafted in white gold and diamonds, featured a large aquamarine, an exclusive design by Aldao jewelry.
