Queen Letizia once again turned the Princess of Asturias Awards into her best runway. This time, she surprised everyone with something that rarely happens: she wore the same dress twice. But she did it so masterfully that no one would have noticed at first glance.

The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia chose a black strapless design from the Spanish firm Sybilla, the same one she wore months ago at the Mariano de Cavia Awards, but now reinvented with a fresh and very elegant touch.

The silk crepe dress, featuring an inner corset, was transformed by a lightweight, sheer chiffon layer in the same color, which draped over the shoulders and flowed gently to the floor. That detail completely changed the perception of the look, adding movement to it.

As for the accessories, everything remained in the same dark palette, featuring a leather wallet and black patent leather slingbacks by Magrit. A sure hit, understated yet sophisticated, it didn’t detract from the true star: the dress.

In terms of jewelry, she once again opted for the De Grisogono earrings she has kept since 2007, crafted from white gold with black and white diamonds, and, of course, her inseparable Coreterno ring.
