Work Outfit: Queen Letizia Brings Out the Burgundy Suit by Bleis Madrid

During her recent official visit to the National Paraplegic Hospital in Toledo, Queen Letizia made it clear that tailored suits have become her favorite choice for official events.

Accompanied by King Felipe VI, the Queen of Spain joined the celebration of the 50th anniversary of this center, a reference in the treatment of spinal cord injuries since its inauguration in 1974 by the then Princes Juan Carlos and Sofia.

For this occasion, Letizia opted for a burgundy suit by Bleis Madrid, which she had already worn for the first time in 2024 during a reception for Olympic and Paralympic athletes at the Paris Games and which we reviewed here on RoyalFamily.News.

The outfit, with a classic cut, is composed of a fitted blazer with a central black button and details on the cuffs, accompanied by straight pants that provide a sober and elegant aesthetic.

Unlike her first appearance with this outfit, where she combined it with a black bow blouse, this time she preferred a simpler approach, choosing a Falconeri cashmere sweater with a round neckline and long sleeves, which softened the formality of the ensemble.

As for accessories, Queen Letizia opted for comfort without sacrificing style. She wore black loafers with a wide heel by Massimo Dutti, ideal for walking around the hospital facilities with ease.

The look was completed with a black bag from the Basque firm Mauska, model Rosario, with a functional design that includes a zipper and an interior lined with suede-effect cotton.

A detail that stood out was her choice of jewelry. She rescued some Pertegaz earrings, elongated design in yellow gold-plated brass, which she had only worn once before, providing a discreet but elegant touch.

This look confirms the Queen’s preference for tailored suits in 2025, consolidating them as her usual “uniform”.
