Queen Letizia has always been an admirer of white shirts and blouses, and her personal collection has more than 30 models and here at RoyalFamily.news, we have reviewed several of them.
At the recent reception for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace in Madrid, she once again demonstrated her ability to combine them impeccably.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia made their entrance at the Royal Palace to receive the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Spain, which includes 126 Embassies and almost 800 Consulates.
Queen Letizia’s style at the diplomatic reception
Following the strict protocol of the event, which requires long dress for women, Queen Letizia wore a new blue gala skirt.
This skirt, made in schiffon chiffon, stood out for its marked waist and its large pleated flounce, creating an ethereal effect as she walked.
The skirt was designed by Zarzuela’s team of dressmakers, who have created numerous garments for the Queen on previous occasions.
Letizia combined the blue skirt with an elegant white shirt with Japanese sleeves, signed by The 2nd Skin. Although it is not new, as she debuted it in December during her state visit to Italy, the garment remains an undisputed hit.
To complete her look, the Queen added diamond and sapphire teardrop-shaped earrings, a jewel she debuted in 2017 during the 40th anniversary concert of the Constitution.
These earrings have sentimental value for her, and she has worn them on several occasions, including at this year’s Princess of Girona Awards ceremony.
As for footwear, Letizia opted for navy blue pumps with a low heel, perfect for her foot ailments and which complemented her ensemble to perfection.
