Queen Letizia has once again demonstrated that her clothes can be a powerful tool to convey messages.

At the institutional event of World Cancer Day, held in Madrid, the monarch opted for a green dress, a tone loaded with symbolism.

The event, which took place at the Espacio Rastro, brought together specialists, patients and representatives of associations that fight against this disease.

True to her commitment to the cause, Letizia attended to highlight the importance of research and support for patients and their families, but she also gave a speech in which she reiterated the need to continue allocating resources to fight cancer.

For the occasion, the Queen opted for a discreet outfit. As the star garment, she rescued from her wardrobe a dress from the firm Dándara, the same one she wore on her state visit to Denmark in 2023.

The design, in an intense shade of green, became the center of attention of her styling, reinforcing the message of hope that she wanted to convey on this day.

To combat the Madrid cold, Letizia opted for a camel-colored dressing gown coat from Mango, a garment she had already worn for the first time the previous year.

This neutral tone was also present in her accessories: low heels from Magrit and a bag from the same firm, with a sober and elegant design.

The look was completed with minimalist jewelry pieces but with a special touch.

As earrings, she chose a Gold and Roses model with small diamonds and an emerald in each piece, in perfect harmony with her dress.

On her hand, she wore a Coreterno ring, one of her most recurrent pieces in recent years.

Beyond fashion, the Queen’s stylistic strategy was clear: avoid distractions and focus on the message of the day.

This is not the first time Letizia has employed this tactic. At events where the priority is to give voice to important causes, she usually resorts to sober and reused garments, preventing her outfit from overshadowing the relevance of the event.

Since 2010, the Queen has held the title of honorary president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, a commitment she has steadfastly maintained over the years.
