Queen Letizia made a meaningful gesture during her participation in Armed Forces Day, celebrated this Saturday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
For this institutional event, the Queen chose earrings belonging to her eldest daughter, Princess Leonor, who is currently in New York as part of her training aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano.

The earrings are white gold with diamonds and sky blue topaz, made by Luzz and sold exclusively by El Corte Inglés.
Leonor wore them for the first time at the 2022 Princess of Girona Awards, marking her debut with fine jewelry in public.
This is not the first time Letizia has worn these earrings. She had already worn them in 2023 during a lightning visit to Croatia to attend a conference on childhood obesity.
For the event, the Queen repeated a midi dress by Carolina Herrera that she has worn on two previous occasions: the first during the state visit of the Sheikh of Qatar in 2022 and the second on a trip to New York.
It is a short-sleeved, high-necked design in white, decorated with delicate blue flowers and green branches. She paired it with familiar accessories, such as a light blue Magrit handbag and white Hugo Boss sandals that she had already worn last summer after a foot injury.
