Queen Letizia was in Granada this week as part of the Tour del Talento to preside over the announcement of the 2026 Princesa de Girona Arte Prize, and she did so in an outfit that certainly did not go unnoticed.
The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía went all-in on deep fuchsia, from her jacket to her pants to her undershirt—exactly the kind of style choice that either works or doesn’t work. In this case, it worked, and it worked quite well.

Queen Letizia’s fuchsia suit sets a trend in Granada
The day’s new look was a fuchsia suit, consisting of a single-breasted jacket with classic lapels and a slightly oversized yet structured cut, which ensured it retained its formal appearance.
The high-waisted, straight-leg pants were cut to reveal the instep, a detail that lengthens the silhouette without the need for high heels. What was most striking was that, instead of breaking up the color with a white or black blouse, she chose a basic T-shirt that was also fuchsia.

A monochrome total look, without compromise. In 2026, that trend is still going strong, and Letizia knows it.
To balance such a strong color, the accessories were deliberately understated. The black Doma Insignia Satchel bag by Carolina Herrera provided the perfect counterpoint, with its architectural lines. Letizia already owns this bag in several colors, and here it did exactly what it was meant to do: balance the look without overpowering it.

On her feet, she wore slingback pumps from Massimo Dutti with a pointed toe and a comfortable heel.
For several seasons now, these have been her go-to choice for long days, and for good reason.
The detail that really catches my eye in this look is the earrings. They are from Dime Que Me Quieres, a Spanish brand that has since closed its doors, and feature gemstones in shades of pink, green, orange, and lilac. Letizia has worn them before and is wearing them again, which confirms something we already know about her wardrobe: the pieces she likes outlast the brands that made them.
