Queen Letizia traveled to Castellón to preside over the main event of World Rare Disease Day, organized by FEDER, the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases, as part of its campaign “because every person matters.”

On this occasion, she did so in her dual role as queen and as the federation’s honorary president. It was also her first official visit to the city, and she arrived at the Auditorium and Congress Palace with her characteristic punctuality, where dozens of people awaited her.

For this occasion, the look was a new one, and it was quite well thought out for the occasion. Letizia chose a Carolina Herrera two-piece in a turquoise tone, which conveyed exactly what one would expect from a queen presiding over an institutional event: serenity, authority, and a touch of warmth.

The outfit consisted of a fitted blazer, classic-cut skinny pants, and a white blouse with a bow. Simple in theory, highly effective in practice.

How Letizia completed her look with shoes and jewelry for her visit to Castellón

The details below also contributed. She chose camel pumps with a large buckle and a mini heel, a contrast that worked very well against the blue of the outfit. Subtle, yet distinctive.

Regarding jewelry, she opted for diamond and emerald earrings from Gold&Roses, a brand we’ve seen her wear before, typically reserved for events of institutional significance. Nothing overdone, everything in its place.
