Queen Letizia has a formula that is working very well for her this year. This involves wearing pants with a blouse or sweater for official events at the palace. No fuss, no risky experiments.
And this week, during audiences at the Palacio de La Zarzuela, she reverted to that same approach. She pulled her slightly flared green Hugo Boss pants, which she first wore in November 2023, from her closet and paired them with a new blouse from the same designer.

The blouse is the focal point of the look. Also from Hugo Boss, this cotton piece features an oversized silhouette, an English collar, ruffles, and frayed cuffs. The frayed detail adds a romantic touch that contrasts with the more restrained style of the ensemble.
Interestingly, the last time Letizia wore these pants, in March 2024, she paired them with a black crewneck sweater.

Undoubtedly, white adds more light, and it seems that was also the queen’s conclusion.
The ankle boots were black Chelsea boots by Carmina Shoemaker, though they were barely visible due to the length of the pants. What did stand out were the earrings, and it’s not the first time that’s happened lately. Letizia has been wearing new jewelry for weeks, and this occasion was no exception.

The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia chose earrings from the Goddess collection by Ceramica Nua, a Catalan firm based in Sant Cugat. They are called Opera, handcrafted from porcelain and finished in gold. Priced at $65, it offers a striking contrast to other pieces in her jewelry box.
