While King Felipe was traveling to Lisbon for the inauguration of Portugal’s new president, Queen Letizia headed to Almería to visit the Cajamar Las Palmerillas Experimental Station, an agricultural technology center that also creates jobs for people with disabilities.
Dressed in a white lab coat, the Queen toured the laboratories and greenhouses and actively participated in the entire process. It was the kind of visit where you can tell there’s genuine interest, not just an agenda.

The red Carolina Herrera suit Queen Letizia wore in Almería
For the occasion, Letizia brought back one of her favorite suits. It’s a deep red two-piece suit by Carolina Herrera that we know well, but which never fails to impress every time it makes an appearance.

She wore a double-breasted blazer, fully buttoned, and slightly flared pants that lengthened her figure. Peeking out from underneath, just enough to add interest, was the collar of a classic white shirt, which softened the intensity of the ensemble without overpowering it. Monochrome, structured, seamless.

Her accessories were her usual ones in their most understated version: comfortable black loafers, triple-hoop earrings from Gold&Roses, and her Coreterno ring, which is now as much a part of her visual signature as any other piece in her wardrobe.
