The In Memoriam concert for the Victims of Terrorism is one of those events on the royal calendar that the King and Queen never miss. This year, the 24th edition was held at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid, featuring the RTVE Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, with performances by artists such as Miren Urbieta-Vega and Moisés Marín.
A solemn and meaningful event, organized by the Victims of Terrorism Foundation. And Letizia, as always in these situations, arrived dressed exactly as the occasion demanded.

Why Letizia wore black to the ‘In Memoriam’ 2026 concert
Black was neither a coincidence nor an aesthetic whim. Last year, she chose a black blazer-style dress for this same event, and in 2026, she repeated the color choice with a different but equally thoughtful outfit.
This time, she chose wide-leg, high-waisted pants that, at first glance, almost looked like a jumpsuit. A piece that beautifully enhances her figure, paired with a wrap blouse from Sandro, a French brand with which she has a long-standing love affair in her wardrobe.

The shirt, featuring satin accents and a V-neckline, added a touch of refinement while maintaining the understated style required for the event.

The accessories were also completely consistent. Letizia wore her black, comfortable, patent-leather Mary Janes from Sézane again, a pair we’ve seen her in before and that clearly works well for long days – which is important given her foot condition.

She added a black wallet-style handbag and Pdpaola earrings, which she debuted in June of last year. All in the same vein, all without fuss.
