Even in the world of royalty, where every garment is carefully selected, fashion crosses and coincidences happen.

Queen Letizia of Spain has shown on more than one occasion that trends know no boundaries.

Over the years, the Queen has been seen wearing outfits that, curiously, have also been chosen by other royal women at public events, showing that the same garment can be worn in unique ways in different contexts.

One of the first examples of these coincidences was an elegant design with an asymmetrical collar and cape by British designer Stella McCartney, which Letizia wore in 2017.

Only a year later, Caroline of Monaco decided to wear the same model, proving that both royals share an exquisite taste for modern and sophisticated designs.

In addition, Queen Letizia recovered this garment again during her state visit to Germany, wearing it at a gala dinner in her honor.

Another coincidence occurred during the 2019 ‘Trooping the Colour’ event in London, where Kate Middleton appeared with a powdered yellow ensemble composed of a dress, a coat and a pamela, a very similar style to the one Letizia had chosen during her visit to England in 2017 alongside King Felipe.

Both proved that this soft and delicate color can be a perfect choice for formal daytime events.

Letizia also made a splash at the Frankfurt Book Fair in a Hugo Boss pencil skirt that she had debuted in 2019, pairing it with a shirt with puffed sleeves.

Interestingly, that same year, Meghan Markle opted for the same skirt, but with a different style: a sweater for a round table on gender equality, showing how one garment can adapt to different styles and purposes.

Another notable coincidence was with Princess Victoria of Sweden, who opted for a pink suit during a visit to university hospitals in Stockholm.

Queen Letizia had worn that same outfit to an event for World Cancer Research Day, showing that both royals know how to wear a classic outfit at important moments, especially when it comes to health-related events.

Finally, we have the famous red Massimo Dutti dress, which Letizia chose for her first official visit abroad after the pandemic.

Máxima of Holland also opted for the same dress for an event in favor of music, demonstrating that a good design can be versatile and suitable for different types of occasions.
