After an intense tour of France, Queen Mary of Denmark resumed this week her institutional commitments with a more social and human approach.
On April 8, she visited the Cancer Counseling Center at Herlev Hospital, in her first act as official patroness of the Danish Cancer Society, a position she has assumed after taking over the throne.
The Queen was greeted with flowers and a tour of the facilities, where she learned about the services for children, young people and families undergoing cancer treatment.
She was also informed about the prevention campaigns, the national scope of counseling and research promoted by the organization, which is financed exclusively by funds raised and the support of volunteers throughout the country.
Queen Mary in cobalt blue suit by The Fold
For this occasion, Mary chose an impeccable cobalt blue outfit from the British firm The Fold London.
It is the model ‘Cecille’, composed of a structured silhouette jacket with asymmetrical wrap neckline, notch lapels and tone-on-tone buttons, combined with a matching trousers with peplum finish.
At her feet she wore a pair of Jimmy Choo Romy 100 heels in navy suede that matched her outfit perfectly.
In the jewelry section she wore Vega button earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry with freshwater pearls, which provided a discreet shine.
