On November 3, Queen Mary of Denmark attended a unique event known as the “Klovnference,” held at the Severin Conference Center in Middelfart.
This gathering was organized by the Danish Hospital Clowns (Danske Hospitalsklovne), a non-profit dedicated to bringing joy and lightheartedness into hospital rooms for children facing health challenges.
Queen Mary, who serves as the patron of the organization, joined to support the cause and deliver an opening speech that resonated with warmth and compassion.
The Danish Hospital Clowns, unlike typical volunteer groups, is composed of professional clowns trained specifically to work in a hospital setting.
Through a specialized training program, which takes between one to one and a half years to complete, these professionals learn the art of comforting and entertaining young patients.
Their role extends beyond entertainment, offering psychological support to children and their families, transforming clinical environments into spaces where laughter and play become a part of healing.

Marry completed her look with Jimmy Choo’s Billie 85 pumps in black suede and Gucci rectangle frame glasses.
