Queen Mary of Denmark’s impeccable sense of style is once again stealing the show.
With a perfect combination of elegance and freshness, the Danish monarch has once again demonstrated how a sophisticated and modern look can be achieved by reusing garments from her own closet.
Queen Mary’s style in Mary Elizabeth Children’s Hospital exhibition
On this occasion, Mary attended an official event where she stood out for her outfit composed of a burgundy skirt by Alexander McQueen and a strawberry pink blouse by the British firm The Fold.
To complete her outfit, the queen opted for a pair of comfortable low-heeled shoes from the renowned brand Jimmy Choo, a choice that confirms her growing preference for comfort without sacrificing style.
Specifically, Mary’s styling, as always, impeccable. Her Alexander McQueen skirt, one of her signature pieces, had already been debuted in 2016.
It is a midi design made in crepe, with a high waist and an asymmetrical hem that gives it a modern touch.
The monarch, who in her first use combined it with a navy blue blouse, this time opted for a pink silk blouse from The Fold, giving it a fresher and more youthful air.
The garment is distinguished by its shawl collar, flared sleeves and hidden buttons, features that add sophistication to the outfit.
As for the footwear, the queen has left aside the high heels for this event, choosing a Jimmy Choo slingback in burgundy, which combine perfectly with her skirt.
These shoes, with a 4.5-centimeter heel and adorned with a pearl, add a touch of sophistication without sacrificing comfort. In addition, the shoes, made in Italy with mesh mesh and nappa leather, have become one of her favorite choices, and she also owns them in blue.
As for accessories, Mary complemented her outfit with rose quartz and gold earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, adding a discreet and elegant touch.
As a personal detail, the queen wore a pendant with the initial “F”, in honor of her husband, Prince Frederick, and several yellow gold bracelets, including the iconic Love de Cartier.
Mary not only surprised by her outfit, but also by the reason for her visit.
The Queen attended an exhibition in Copenhagen dedicated to the future children’s hospital that will bear her name: Mary Elizabeth.
During her tour, she learned about the architecture of the project through a model and was informed about the efforts to improve the experience of hospitalized children.
