During her recent visit to the Botanical Garden of Brasilia, Queen Mary of Denmark not only reaffirmed her commitment to the preservation of the environment as a protector of the United Nations Environment Program, but also showed an elegant style in line with the trends of this fall 2024.
The combination of her natural sophistication and environmental awareness was evident in every detail of her attire.
Queen Mary’s style at the Botanical Garden of Brasilia
Mary appeared at the event with a look that perfectly balanced comfort and elegance, a hallmark of the queen.
The starting point of her styling was a white Bagutta shirt made of linen, a smart and practical choice for Brazil’s hot climate.
There is no doubt that it was an appropriate choice since linen is perfect for these temperatures, as it allows the skin to breathe. This timeless basic, moreover, remained true to her always neat and classic style.
To complement her shirt, the queen opted for a khaki-toned flowing skirt by Malene Birger, a lightweight garment that gave a relaxed yet sophisticated touch to her look.
As she usually does, she chose a belt to structure the outfit, this time from the Max Mara brand. Wide belts like this one are still on trend, as they are perfect for styling looser garments.
One of the most talked about details of her look was the modern touch of her Gucci sunglasses. With an oversized design and in a blue tone that contrasted with the rest of the outfit.
To complete her look, the queen decided to go for a pair of Adidas Stan Smith sneakers, a vegan model that she had already worn at other events.
These sneakers, in addition to being comfortable, fit perfectly with her sustainable fashion philosophy. For outdoor events like this one, she also repeated her faithful Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat, an accessory that not only protects her from the sun, but also reinforces her relaxed yet sophisticated style.
Mary’s choice of jewelry added a very personal touch to her ensemble. She opted for simple gold-plated earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and two necklaces, her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau with special meanings: one with the initial of her husband, Prince Frederik, and the other with the initials of her four children.
She finished off the jewelry section with her Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet and her Ole Lynggaard ring.
