On January 30, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark visited the Lerbjerg Forest, a nature site located south of Hvalsø in central Zealand.
Accompanied by members of the Danish Nature Fund, of which she is the patron, the monarch toured a restored five-kilometer stretch, where she learned first-hand about conservation initiatives that seek to protect the area’s biodiversity and encourage contact with nature.
The Danish Nature Fund, in conjunction with local partners, has carried out an ambitious ecological restoration project in this forest, introducing outdoor experiences and recreational activities that make it a more accessible space for both visitors and local wildlife.
Here at RoyalFamily.News, we will describe Mary of Denmark’s outfit for this outdoor activity.
Queen Mary’s style in the Lerbjerg Forest
For the occasion, Queen Mary opted for a practical and comfortable outfit, ideal for a day in nature.
She wore a Laksen outfit consisting of a Lady Dynamic Eco Smock jacket and matching olive-colored pants, complemented with beige Moscow gloves.
On her feet, she opted for Penelope Chilvers’ classic Cropped Tassel boots in Seaweed/Conker, perfect for the wooded terrain.
The day in Lerbjerg reaffirmed Mary’s commitment to environmental preservation, highlighting the positive impact of these projects on the natural balance of the forest.
